|Photos and work that record our visit to the City of London on 5th December 2016, comparing old and new architecture, and looking at the shapes used in the design of buidings.|
We walked around the square mile, looking in detail at the buildings and architecture. The comparison between old and new buildings was easy to spot, and we discussed how bulidings have changed in the last 200 years, and also the last 60 years - changes that were harder to see. Our workbooks recorded what we learned, and sketching helped us think about the shapes used in modern design. The view from the Skygarden at 20 Fenchurch Street was amazing!
